You may be coping on the outside while struggling underneath

Psychodynamic therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, difficult relationships, trauma, addiction and low self-worth

In person therapy in Colchester and online across the UK

You might recognise this feeling

You may be capable, responsible and accustomed to managing things alone. Yet beneath the surface, you might feel anxious, emotionally exhausted or caught in patterns you cannot seem to change.

Perhaps you overthink conversations, struggle to trust others, feel responsible for other people’s emotions or repeatedly become caught in relationships that leave you feeling unseen.

You do not need to have a diagnosis or a perfectly formed explanation before beginning therapy. We can start with what feels most pressing.

AREAS WE CAN EXPLORE TOGETHER

Support for what matters to you

Other issues we might explore

These areas can also shape how we feel, cope and relate to ourselves and others

Understanding what lies beneath the surface

Psychodynamic therapy looks beyond the immediate symptom. Together, we explore the emotional experiences, relationships and patterns that may still be shaping how you feel and respond today.

The aim is not simply to cope better but to understand yourself more deeply.

A thoughtful space to speak openly

I am a BACP registered psychodynamic therapist with a postgraduate degree in Psychodynamic Therapy. My approach is collaborative, culturally sensitive and attentive to the parts of experience that can be difficult to put into words.
